I’m teaching a beginning guitar class at Washington Middle School this year. The class is facilitated by Seattle Parks and Recreation. I’m very happy to be back working in a public school environment and I have 10 eager and enthusiastic students (the best kind, I’m pleased to say). We’ll be learning basic guitar technique, music notation reading, TAB reading and we’ll be kicking out the jams getting ready for a performance in the WMS Spring concert. I’ll be working closely with the WMS band staff and with SPR staff and truth be told, I’m really excited about the whole project!
